Program One

Summary:

Our program was a partnership between Jaycee Community Center, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences' Agroecology Farm, and ourselves to plan a field trip for Lake Lynn Track Out students. It was at NC State’s farms on Lake Wheeler Road and Yates Mill Park. We had a scheduled field trip for the students to have an educational and fun experience. We went through a quick agriculture lesson, did some fun games and activities that related to the lesson, and transported the students to and from the locations. We loved having hands on experiences for the kids with plants that are currently growing.
