This page suggests a few strategies to begin searching for articles on your topic, and specifically, finding articles from two different disciplines.
Summon provides access to most of our articles and is a good place for beginning researchers to start.
You can use different filters in Summon to search for articles across disciplines or to test out the researchability of a topic. You can also use the results you find in Summon to modify or improve your search. Watch the video below for an example of how to do this.
Some topics are very specific to a particular area of study. If you're finding too many unrelated results in Summon or if you know you want to find information on a topic from a particular perspective, you may want to try looking in the subject-specific databases. See an example of how to search in these databases in the video below.
