Deep Evaluation Journey Partnership

We are excited to link arms on an equitable, culturally responsive evaluation journey over the next year!!

About This Partnership

The eeVAL 3.0 project builds capacity and community to improve environmental education related programming using culturally responsive and equitable evaluation approaches. Over the course of the year, we’ll…

We are sought representatives from organizations (such as educators, coordinators, directors, evaluators, or folks in other roles), emerging evaluators, and experts in Culturally Responsive and Equitable Evaluation (CREE) that are committed to creating more just, inclusive, and healthy partnerships and communities. We sought partners in this work that are in service to BIPOC, LGBTQplus, under-resourced groups, and individuals historically underrepresented and marginalized in environmental education and in evaluation.

Note: This project is emerging and as we conduct evaluation for the purpose of learning and improving the eeVAL project, we are interested in exploring potential research questions that might emerge from this work. If research questions emerge from the Deep Evaluation Journey Partnership, participation will be completely optional and opt in only. We will be in discussion with selected partners as these questions emerge and explore pathways for collaboration to the extent that partners are interested.

About Us

eeVAL 3.0 is a group of folx with a shared commitment to evaluation that contributes to more just, inclusive, and healthy partnerships and communities. We are practitioners, educators, evaluators, learners, researchers, with varied identities and life experiences. You can learn a bit more about us here. We recognize the deep work we must do to achieve justice and dignity for all. We see this project as an opportunity to make a small contribution to this broader vision.

Deep Evaluation Journey Proposed Timeline

This project will run through Spring 2024. Note that exact timing of events will be determined collectively and will change in conversation with the needs of selected organizations, evaluators, and the eeVAL team. Our intent is that this work aligns with and uplifts your organizational efforts and can be interwoven with that work.
