To begin, watch the Slate reviewer training video. This is required before you can access Slate and start reviewing applications for your program. Be sure to bookmark the video so you can revisit it later if you need a refresher.
After watching the video, fill out the Slate Completion Verification form to confirm that you have completed the training.
Next, review the Slate training document. We recommend printing or saving it for future reference.
Please note: You’ll need to sign in to your work Google account to access the document.
Reach out to your department’s SAR approver to request access to Slate, specifically the Slate Non-Degree Admissions role.
To locate your department's SAR approver, follow these steps:
Log in to MyPack portal.
Click the navigator (compass icon) in the top-right corner.
Follow this path to the lookup tool: Identity Management > Security Access / SAR > SAR.
Click on SAR Approver Lookup and enter your department/college number to find your approver.
If you need help identifying your SAR approver, please contact oit_access_mgmt@help.ncsu.edu.
Once your departmental SAR approver submits your SAR access request, email our team to let us know. A member of our team will verify that your access to Slate has been granted, allowing you to view and make recommendations for applicants to your program.
If you encounter any issues completing steps 1-5, please reach out to us for assistance.
