Here's how to prepare:
Check your assigned enrollment date and time in MyPack Portal. Check the full Enrollment Schedule here.
Schedule your registration advising appointment early.
Update your Pack Planner AND your Shopping Cart before our meeting.
Why update both?
Pack Planner feeds your Degree Audit and keeps you on track to graduate.
Shopping Cart checks for course conflicts and registration issues.
S/U Grading Reminder: Only E 115 and HES courses can be taken S/U and still count towards your degree.
Always consult with me first before switching a class to S/U!
Grade Exclusions: Always email me first before submitting a grade exclusion. These have permanent impacts on your degree audit and cannot be undone once submitted.
CHE 497: If required as part of a concentration curriculum, this does not meet as a regular course. This is independent research with a CBE faculty mentor. To request enrollment, please email Emily Resk (emily_resk@ncsu.edu) and copy the faculty mentor + 1) confirm you have discussed with the mentor the requirements for CHE 497 credit which include 150 lab hours, or approximately 10 hours/week, and a final graded deliverable; and 2) include a brief description of your project. If requesting to work with someone outside the department, the project must have a clear Chemical Engineering component.
Swap to Waitlist: If seeking to enroll in a class + join the waitlist for an alternate section, follow the Swap to Waitlist procedure to avoid MyPack errors.
