Mr. Bos graduated from Coopersville High School. Growing up he showed sheep, cattle, and pigs through 4-H and FFA. While in FFA he participated in Parliamentary Procedure, the Vet Science CDE, Discussion Meet, and Livestock Judging.
Mr. Bos graduated with a degree in Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Education (AFNRE) from Michigan State University with minors in Biology Education, Environmental Sustainability Studies, and Agronomy. Mr. Bos completed his Master's Degree in AFNRE at Michigan State University as well. This is his sixth year at NCCTC.
Mr. Bos enjoys spending time with his dog Nellie, watching Michigan State football and basketball, and working on his truck.
Instructor
Mrs. Schweitzer graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in northeast Michigan. She raised sheep and steers to show in 4-H while growing up and was in FFA. Her favorite FFA event is parliamentary procedure, which she was able to compete in at the national level in high school.
She earned Bachelor's Degrees in Animal Science and Agriscience Education, minors in math and biology, as well as a Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Michigan State University. She also earned a Doctor of Education Degree in Career and Technical Education Leadership at the University of Wisconsin - Stout. This is her 14th year at NCCTC.
Mrs. Schweitzer and her husband have two boys. She enjoys spending time with her family, drinking coffee, watching MSU sports, and doing DIY projects.

Instructor
Mrs. Kurtz graduated from Ravenna High School, where she was actively involved in FFA, 4-H, and band. Growing up, she showed goats as well as dairy and beef cattle. During her time in FFA, she competed in Environmental Skills, Milk Quality, Agriculture Issues, and was a member of the State Band.
After high school, she became an optician, but her passion for agriculture never faded. Inspired by her roots and lifelong involvement in ag, she eventually followed her heart and switched to a career in the field where she truly feels at home.
Mrs. Kurtz, and her husband have a daughter and son. Together with her family, she enjoys spending time camping, photography and participating in livestock shows.
