Learning Progressions:
Learning progressions describe the sequence of skills and knowledge students develop over the course of a school year. They break grade-level standards into clear, step-by-step learning targets so teachers, students, and families can see how learning builds over time.
At North Crawford Elementary, learning progressions guide instruction, help students understand their goals, and allow teachers to provide targeted feedback. They also give families transparency into what their child is learning now, what comes next, and how current skills connect to grade-level expectations.
Progressions are used to monitor growth, support timely intervention, and ensure every student is working toward mastery of grade-level standards.
