Welcome to the 2026 Honors Chorus website! My name is Ben McKinnon. I am the current Honors Chorus Coordinator. I hope you have had a great summer and are excited for a new school year. On the pages to your right you will find all of the information you need for the 2026 NC Middle School Honors Chorus. The Middle School Chorus Board would like to invite you to bring your students to audition this October and that you and your students will find it to be a meaningful musical experience. Please make sure you have read all of the policies and procedures for Honors Chorus that can be found under the “Governing Documents” tab. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Please do not register all of your students in the same voice part. This makes it very difficult to schedule schools in a timely manner. It also means you are pitting all your students against one another.  

Please remember that your time preference is just a preference and cannot always be honored. Please do not plan to return to school at a certain time or promise your bus for after-school use. We cannot guarantee your return before the end of the school day.
