Hello, Middle School Choral Directors!
My name is Beth Coldiron, and I am thrilled to serve as your Middle School Choral Section Mentoring Chair for the 2026–2027 school year.
A little bit about me: I have been teaching for 14 years, with 11 wonderful years spent right here in North Carolina. Currently, I teach at Bailey Middle School in Cornelius, NC. I absolutely love teaching middle school chorus, and my ultimate goal is to help you love it just as much!
Stepping into a middle school choir room can be an exhilarating—and sometimes overwhelming—experience. My vision for this mentoring program is to ensure our new and beginning teachers feel completely supported, confident, and comfortable in their roles. By building a strong community of educators, we can continue to promote thriving music programs and champion strong advocacy for middle school choruses across North Carolina.
Whether you are looking for guidance or ready to share your wisdom as a veteran, we want you on our team!
Warmly,
Beth Coldiron,
