Newsela

Newsela is an online platform featuring engaging articles on a variety of topics, including but not limited to current events, myths, literature, poetry, and science. Newsela updates content daily. They curate the articles from a variety of sources and provide some of these articles in both English and Spanish. Each article will have five lexile levels ranging from elementary to 12th grade. Each leveled text has different activities including a write prompt and quiz for students to self-assess their growth.
