Jamboard

North Clackamas School District

What is Jamboard?

Jamboard

Sketch your ideas whiteboard-style while benefiting from the access and connectivity of an interactive canvas. Drop images, add notes, and pull assets directly from the web while collaborating with team members from anywhere.

Depending on the grade level and content area of your teacher, they may choose to use other powerful, collaborative and engagement applications that provide differentiation and assist with assessment and learning.

How to use JamBoard

The Jamboard app is right in students' Google Drive. It has all of the sharing capacity of any Google Docs (like Slides, for example) and can be pushed out to your students via Google Classroom.

It also is accessible on iOS and Android devices, such as iPads, cell phone and the like:

  • Browser (also found in your Drive)

  • Apple Store

  • Play Store

It initially was designed to use with a interactive flats creen like whiteboard, but the software does NOT need that piece of hardware.

If your experiencing problems with your Chromebook or it is broken please contact our Technology & Information Team.
