Next select if you want the downloaded files all in one directory or separated by channel
Select next to install all features

You will now see new icons appear on the desktop for the various broadcasts.
You will also notice a new icon in the system tray. This icon shows you the status of the tellicast client and whether it is connected and receiving files.
If you right click on the icon and select the HTML Shell you can launch a web browser and see the status of the program.
If your dish is aligned and tuned correctly you should now start to see the signal a signal on the overview screen.
If you now select the active Channels option on the menu you should also see you client connecting to the announcement Channel and various Data channels. This will look something like this.
At this stage it is worth checking the log files. Select the log File menu option. This will show any errors and let you know of any partially or failed data files.
By default the TelliCAst program will save it's data to
C:\EUMETCast\received\
This directory is created during the install process. In these two directories there will be two directories bas and arf-1. All the files from the African broadcast are put into afr-1 directory. The bas (basic) directory will remain empty.
We will cover later how to manage these files as you can receive up to 5 thousand files a day depending on what options you select. This will very quickly fill your disk so you need to put systems in place to manage the sheer amount of data coming in.
