August 26th- Welcome back to school! In orchestra your student will be learning how to play their instrument, study music theory and music history, listening to music, and so much more. I will be posting monthly updates in the sections below so that way you can see what we are learning about. I look forward to making music with your student this year!

You need to sign up for NinGenius which is our online theory program. If your student is unable to complete online assignments please contact Mrs. May immediately. Students will need to complete three total stars for the months of August and September. They are due on Sept. 6th, 13th and 27th.

Nin Genius Assignment Due Dates: Oct. 4th, 11th, and 25th. The 25th will be their first belt. They must pass the belt in order to earn the next level.

Ningenius Assignments: Due on November 1st, 8th, 15th.

The Middle School Orchestra Concert is on Thursday, Dec. 12th beginning at 5:30pm. Students are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the concert in order to warm-up and get what they need. Students are expected to wear their Wednesday Formal attire and girls must wear leggings or tights with their skirts.
