Pension Plan
As a contracted employee of North Brunswick Township you will be automatically enrolled in a mandatory pension plan. The type of pension plan you are eligible for depends on your working hours and certification. For new employees, payroll can not enroll you in the pension until after your first working day. The state must then verify this information before deductions begin. This process usually takes approximately 2-3 months. The state will take back deductions once approved. You will receive a form from payroll providing information of the start date of these deductions. Your pension ID number can be found on your pay stub.
Once enrolled, please go to the Member Benefit Online System (MBOS) to register and view your pension information
