This is the time of year when our Waimea Kāhui Ako transition process begins. This google site KTap contains information with KTap exemplars, KTap templates, KTap criteria and other details. If you require any further information on what to do please contact the RTLB Waimea Intermediate School Liaison for details.
The following details the process required for Term 2 :
SENCo to establish a list of all students that fit KTap criteria in Term 2.
Once complete email KTap student list to the Inducting School RTLB Liaison and the school's RTLB Liaison.
Deadline date for KTap List to be emailed is Monday, Week 9, Term 2.
Please note: If other students present as KTap candidates later in the year they can be added to this list. This process will be entirely directed through the KTap and Waimea Kāhui Ako.

This email is to update you on the required KTaP process for Term 3. As we are now using a digital platform the process has now changed. Please be aware of these changes. Attached are two additional pieces of information specifically regarding the process.
The following details the process required for Term 3:
Teachers/SENCo are required to produce KTap forms during Term 3 on etap.
Please complete all the fields fully where possible.
The RTLB School Liaison team will cross reference the KTaps with the list created in Term 2 to ensure no students are missed.
All KTap transition forms will be need to be fully completed and submitted via Etap by Week 1 Term 4
Any additional digital information the school holds on KTap students can also be emailed at this time to Inducting School SENCo.

Email 4: Send to all SENCo, RTLB School Liasion of Waimea Kāhui Ako. Term 3 Week 5

This is a gentle reminder to ensure that your school will complete the KTap documents for Term 3. Now is the time to send out whānau and student voice Section 2 document if you have not already done so. These will be needed to be collected in Week 8 or week 9 to meet the final deadline for completed documents.
Your Liaison RTLB should begin assessing the information the school has provided in the KTap documents and may come back to the teacher for further details.
Please Note: All KTaps will be need to be fully completed and emailed by Week 1 Term 4 to the Inducting school RTLB Liaison. Any additional digital information the school holds on KTap students can also be emailed at this time to the same Inducting school RTLB Liaison.
