I have been a middle school ELA teacher since 2011, obtaining my teaching degree from the University of Delaware (Go Blue Hens!). I taught in southern Maryland for 6 years and then moved back to New Jersey and have been working at Lincoln Annex in New Brunswick Public Schools.

I have always been a person who LOVES to give gifts and help out; I love the feeling of helping someone or making someone smile. As an educator, one of the ways I can make my fellow teachers smile (besides reminding of days we have no school) is to share great resources for activities that were successes in my 6th grade and 8th grade classrooms. Located on the various pages of this Google Sites, you will find some of my favorite activities that I loved to engage my students in their learning.

Some of the educational platforms I've used the most in my student activities have been Google Slides to create both Pear Decks and Blackout Poems as well as Canva to create great designs for projects.
