MEMBERSHIPS
All New Brunswick Powerlifting Association athletes must hold a valid membership card to compete. Membership cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
There are two types of CPU memberships: Elite and Performance.
Elite members have the ability to set records provincially and Nationally as well as attend the regional and national championships.
Performance members are eligible for provincial and local placings and prizes but will not be able to break records or attend regional or national championships
Prices for membership cards (2024) are as follows:
Open Membership - $125
Valid for all athletes over the age of 23
Sub-Junior & Junior Membership - $115
Valid for all Sub-Junior (14-18) & Junior-aged athletes (19-23)
Youth Membership - $50
Valid for all Youth athletes (8-13)
Special Membership - $100
Valid for blind athletes of any age, Special Olympics athletes of any age, and New Brunswick Powerlifting honorary members

MANDATORY ATHLETE REQUIREMENT
In order to participate in NBPL/CPU Sanctioned events all athletes are required to complete the CCES True Sport Clean online education model.
