Food:
You'll want to eat as close to everyday (for you) food as possible on meet day
Don’t try new foods or supplements on meet day
Pack for a long day, the meet will last from 3 – 5 hours
You don’t want to starve or be stuck with something you are not used to eating or end up crashing by eating only sugar all day
Nice to Have Meet Day Items
Attempt Selection Plan: come in with a plan A, B, and C written out in KG so you don’t have to spend time thinking and calculating out your attempts. You only get 60 seconds after each lift to submit your attempts and you don’t want to miss this window.
Pen and paper
Backpack or duffle bag: to carry all your things
Coach/Handler
Baby Powder: used for deadlifts on your thighs to decrease friction
Liquid/Powder Chalk: chalk will be provided, but if you want to bring your own that’s fine too
Headphones & Music Player
Athletic Tape
Ammonia Smelling Salts
Video Recording Device
