What do we do?

SMILE (Students Mixing in the Lives of the Elderly) plans

• Seasonal celebrations: Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas/Spring/etc…

• Ice Cream Socials/board games/glee club sing alongs/blanket buddies

How often do we meet?

• once or twice a month

Where and when do we meet?  

• We meet monthly during the Activity Period - to prepare for our monthly activity.  

• Most of our projects will involve making crafts for the residents of Bethlehem Woods and the CSJ Motherhouse. 

  • When/if we have an in-person event, we meet most often on a weekday evening - from 6:30 -7:30 pm; a couple of times we meet Sunday mornings from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
