Nazareth makes history and the Alexine records it. Pulling the year together and focusing on the important events are some goals the staff sets out to accomplish. Events are recorded through both text and photos to help students recall special moments, whether it be next year or ten years from now. This club devotes its time to raising environmental awareness in the Nazareth community. This group educates students on both domestic and international environmental issues and creates awareness campaigns for the school about such issues. The Freddie Fanatics serve as the voice of Nazareth’s well-known student fan section. All game day themes, hype videos and event promotion are done by our organization. Operation Snowball is a program run by students for students. Snowball is a one-day conference that gives you a chance to learn about ways to be healthier and make better choices. Progressions is a small auditioned group that sings at concerts, liturgies and outside events. We meet weekly on Mondays after school in the Chapel. To join this group, students must audition in September. Students interested in auditioning should know that the ability to read music, although not required, is a consideration for selection. Members serve as ambassadors of the school by representing the four pillars of Nazareth at various functions such as recruiting events and other programs where students are placed in a visible role. Scholastic Bowl is a competitive activity in which students participate as a team of five against other teams by answering trivia questions pertaining to various academic topics.
