Mu Alpha Theta is the National High School Mathematics Honor Society with over 75,000 student members in more than 1,500 schools. Members are dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school.
The goals of NEHS include recognition of students who excel in their English classes, encouraging students to further develop their interest in the study of English and to encourage members to use their talents in service of others. Members of NHS serve as role models for the underclassmen in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership and character. Once inducted into NHS members become actively involved in the school's tutoring program, the Blood Drive and various service endeavors throughout the year. Click here for more specific information.
Members of the Science National Honor Society excel in their Science classes and are required to participate in weekly tutoring, meet required service hour requirements, and participate in at least one large science project through an existing club. The goals of SNHS are to encourage scientific thinking and engagement by advancing students’ knowledge of science, increasing communication between students and the scientific community, and aiding the public through student-led public outreach and community service.
Members of Tri-M excel in the area of music and serve as role models for the underclassmen in the areas of leadership, service, and character. In addition to planning music-related activities for the Nazareth community, Tri-M members embrace community outreach by planning music-related community service opportunities.
