Throughout the year, we discuss and write about the news that is important to us: school news; local, national and world news; entertainment; sports.

We’re looking to expand our coverage with podcasts and increased social media presence. We’re also looking to make better use of our own newspaper website, so if you’re interested in these multimedia projects, please join us!

Our field trips include the student journalism conference at The University of Illinois and a visit to the Chicago Tribune newsroom.
