We have included information about our various programs, campus resources, unit-specific requirements and policies, and key aspects of teacher education in New York State. All of our teacher education programs are designed to meet the standards set by the New York State Education Department, as well as Nazareth University’s program outcomes. You should also consult the Nazareth University Website and Undergraduate or Graduate Catalogs (linked throughout) for more information on policies and procedures.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns as you enter and progress through your teacher education program. I look forward to meeting you!

Helpful Tips for Students
Moodle is Nazareth's course management system. All courses are automatically created in Moodle and many instructors use the system to post and retrieve assignments, as well as post grades. To access Moodle, visit https://lms.naz.edu/. Students will need their MyNaz account information to log in. For more information about Moodle, visit the website.
All campus academic, buildings, administrative buildings and residence halls feature wireless network access. NazCommunityWifi is intended for use with laptop computers, tablets, gaming consoles and smartphones. The password for access is GoldenFlyers. For more information about wifi or cable services, visit the website.
There are many places to dine on campus. Please visit the website for information.
Faculty, staff, and students are required to place a parking permit on any vehicle that will be parked on campus. Students are expected to complete the vehicle permit registration process each Fall or Spring (whichever is applicable). The Campus Safety Department enforces campus parking rules and regulations. To get a permit, students will need to fill out the online application, then stop down at Campus Safety to pick it up. Vehicles without permits will be ticketed. For more information about parking permits or where to park on campus, visit the Campus Safety website.
