Assessing Video Assignments

The Assignment activity can be setup to collect video assignments from students in Moodle.   Due to file size limits, it is strongly recommend that faculty design video assignments that direct students to share videos through a share link from hosting site rather than expecting them to upload a file. Most video files are too big to be submitted to a Moodle dropbox.   Easily accessible hosting sites include YouTube or a student's Google Drive account.

PRO TIP: Asking students to submit videos  as a YouTube shareable link can streamline your review and scoring process!  YouTube links added in Moodle automatically convert to show the video on the review submissions or grading page.
