The driver needs a current and valid driver's license (identification-type card) in hand.
Digital licenses may not be accepted and may result in a long wait time for approval. Bring your physical driver's license identification-type card.
Other adult passengers may need a valid picture ID card.
All instructors remain at the camp 24 hours per day. A nighttime Command Duty Officer is awake at the camp overnight. The phone number will be listed at the bottom of all website pages (see below). It will be activated closer to camp commencing.
This phone is for nighttime emergencies only.
It will not be monitored on arrival or departure day. Please do not call for directions or late arrivals. Contact your Senior Naval Science Instructor.
It will NOT be monitored continuously during the working day.
Please note that cadets cannot receive any visitors at the camp at any time until after graduation.
All early departures or emergencies should be coordinated with the cadet's Naval Science Instructors from their school. Please contact them first. Cadets departing early will not normally return, complete, or graduate from camp.
Cadets must arrive between 13:00 - 16:00 (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm) on Sunday, 16 June 2024.
Cadets cannot arrive before 13:00 (1:00 pm).
Cadets should arrive in the Navy PT uniform.
Events are scheduled for the afternoon of the first day.
Late arrivals may not be allowed to remain in camp.
Graduate Assistants should coordinate with their Senior Naval Science Instructor for the arrival and participation in camp Friday and Saturday.
Cadets are not allowed to have vehicles at camp. They cannot drive themselves. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Drop off location: Building 3335 (the "high rise" buildings) on Lee Ave past 31st Street. (See map and directions below.)
Parents will drop off cadets from the vehicle. Instructors will meet cadets at the designated drop-off area.
Parents will not escort cadets during the drop-off process.
Planned Location: RTI parade field. (From directions to the drop-off location, continue to 37th Street, turn left and the parade field parking is on the left. See map and directions below.)

Park only in parking spots that are not reserved. Do not park on the grass or along roads.
It will be extremely hot and no shade. Please bring your own water.
Sunscreen and umbrellas are also encouraged. Bring water to drink!
Seating is very limited. We recommend bringing your own chair.
Pickup after graduation will be at the same location as the drop-off if your cadet is not riding home with the unit. However, cadets will need time to return to the barracks and gather their belongings.
The CDO phone will not be monitored starting Saturday morning of graduation. Contact your instructors if you need something at that point.

Do not follow directions from GPS or other mapping devices. Other services may try to direct you to a gate that is closed on weekends. All BLT/LA traffic must enter through "South Gate" via these instructions.
Take exit 59 for US-98 E.
Follow US-98 E for 2 miles.
RIGHT turn to US-49 S to Gulfport.
Follow US-49 S for 3.9 miles.
LEFT turn onto Southgate Road.
Note: You can also arrive from US-49 Northbound. Turn RIGHT at Southgate Road.
STOP for security inspection at the gate. You will have to provide a valid driver's license.
RIGHT turn after the Railroad tracks onto Warehouse Ave.
LEFT turn at the second left onto Forrest Ave.
Continue to the right at the fork to stay on Forrest Ave.
Turn at the first LEFT (12th street). (Almost any street between 12th Street and 31st Street will take you to Lee Ave.)
Turn right on Lee Street. Continue to the high-rise buildings.
