Advisor: Mr. Askins
Regular Meeting Place: Room 214
Description/Purpose: The Math Club is an after school activity that brings interested individuals the opportunity to challenge each other with difficult problems they face or have encountered. We concentrate on mostly SAT questions and also any related everyday obstacle that you may come across in real-world situations that have to do with Mathematics. We also offer the time for students who are not in the Math Club to be tutored by a willing and helpful Math Club member.
Mission Statement: The Math Club is designed to challenge students who have an interest in mathematics and challenge each other to grow and develop in mathematics.
Requirements for Participation: You are required to attend a meeting once a week, usually on Thursdays from 2:15-2:45.
Major Activities: SAT Prep (Math) is one of our biggest challenges. We all want to be as prepared as possible when the time comes to take one of the most important tests in our high school careers.
