Student, teacher and parent surveys will be conducted at the end of each semester to gather feedback on the effectiveness of the iPads. Teachers will also submit examples of iPad activities, app integrations, assignments, and projects to demonstrate integration. Usage statistics and proficiency outcomes will be reviewed to gauge impact.
The success of the iPad integration into the music, theater, and art curriculums will be evaluated by James Perry, the district's educational technology implementation coordinator, who has years of experience evaluating educational technology implementation and their impact.
Classroom Observations: Mr. Perry will observe 10 classes at the beginning and end of the school year to assess how iPads are being integrated into curriculums and impact on student engagement.
Teacher interviews: Interviews will be conducted with all teachers at the beginning and end of the year to understand iPad usage, gather lesson plan examples, and hear teacher perspectives.
Student surveys: Annual surveys will gauge student attitudes towards the iPads, their perceptions of impact on learning, and skills gained.
Parent surveys: Surveys will assess parent observations of impact on student creativity, collaboration, and engagement.
School records review: Student grades, assignment completion rates, and proficiency scores in music, theater, and art classes will be reviewed.
App usage analytics: Usage statistics will be analyzed to measure application adoption and engagement
Mr. Perry will evaluate all qualitative and quantitative data collected to form a comprehensive summation of program implementation and outcomes. He will deliver a formal report at the end of each school year with recommends for improvement. The school district will utilize his expertise to enhance the iPad program overtime.
