Fine art programs are underfunded in the public school system. Being able to provide iPads for Leavenworth High School's fine arts programs allows the students in these programs to grow their craft. Students being provided an environment to grow their craft is similar to a coach providing an environment for an athlete to grow. Leavenworth is considered a low socio-economic school, providing a piece of technology to help level the playing field for them and allow them to express themselves. Giving students a piece of technology will enhance their learning ability because it lets them work more independently, get feedback quicker, and enhance their workability.
