CCAPP is NP3 High School’s college course partnership with Los Rios Community College. Students take approved college classes through NP3, earning both high school and college credit simultaneously.
Transcripts & Credits
All CCAPP courses are recorded on the NP3 High School transcript.
Grades earned also become part of the student’s official Los Rios College transcript and permanent college record.
Because these grades live on both transcripts, maintaining strong academic performance is essential.
Course Load Student Responsibility
College courses move quickly and require mature time management.
Maintain a balanced schedule,
avoid over-committing to too many advanced courses,
Students and families are responsible for staying up to date with college expectations and deadlines.
Recommended Course Types
Select from NP3’s approved CCAPP course list.
NP3 offers a limited number of pre-selected college courses each term to ensure alignment with graduation requirements and college-transfer standards.
Prioritize courses that meet A–G requirements for UC/CSU admissions, especially when these appear on NP3’s approved list.
Select classes that support the student’s graduation plan and educational goals, with guidance from NP3 counselors.
Role of School & Family
The school offers guidance on course selection, but
The student and family are ultimately responsible for managing deadlines, completing coursework, and navigating the expectations of college-level classes.
Non-CCAPP dual enrollment refers to college classes students take independently, outside of NP3 High School's official CCAPP partnership with Los Rios Community College District. In this option, students enroll directly with the college on their own and complete the course fully as independent college students.
Transcripts & Credits
Dual enrollment courses taken independently will NOT be added to the high school transcript, unless the course is being used to meet the high school World Language graduation requirement.
All grades earned through Los Rios will appear on an official college transcript and become part of the student’s permanent college record.
College grades may impact future financial aid eligibility and college admissions, so strong performance is essential.
Course Load Student Responsibility
Students must maintain a balanced schedule. College classes are fast-paced and require strong time-management skills.
Students and families are responsible for ensuring the student can manage both high school and college coursework without becoming overwhelmed.

Role of the School & Family
The school offers guidance on course selection, but
