Process for Course Selection
Join us for Academic Advising Night on Thursday, February 19th to learn about classes, programs, and opportunities for next year (flyer coming soon!).
If you’re thinking about taking AP classes, be sure to attend the AP info meetings in February and March to understand expectations before you request the course.
Look through the Course Catalog to explore class descriptions and check for any prerequisites. Check the NP3 Math and Science Flowchart to ensure you are on the right path.
Review your Academic Planner in your CaliforniaColleges.edu account to help choose classes that fit your goals.
Submit your Course Request Google Form with your 8 course choices plus 2 alternates for the 2026–2027 school year.
If you request Dual Enrollment classes, remember that there will be extra steps to complete before Spring Break.
If you requested AP courses you will attend the AP meetings in May to pick up your AP textbooks and get your summer assignments.
Check Infinite Campus in July to see your schedule for the 2026–2027 school year.
Incoming 9th graders will receive their schedules at Freshman Orientation the week before school starts.
Academic Advising Night
Academic Advising Night is an evening event where students and families can explore academic opportunities through a variety of presentations, visit a college fair to learn about future pathways, and enjoy a showcase highlighting student work and programs. It’s a great way to get informed and inspired for the school year ahead.
