NP3 High School requires students to complete a rigorous college-preparatory program and earn 260 credits to earn a high school diploma. This includes required courses in core subjects, electives, and specified grade-level college prep electives, all completed with a grade of C or better. NP3’s diploma also aligns with UC/CSU A–G requirements, preparing students for college admission.

Credit Requirements to Graduate (Total: 260 credits)

• English: 40 credits 

• History/Social Science: 40 credits 

• Mathematics: 30 credits

• Science: 20 credits (Physical + Life Science)

• World Language: 20 credits (same language sequence)

• Visual/Performing Arts: 10 credits

• College-Prep Electives: 10 credits

• Physical Education: 20 credits

• General Electives: 40 credits

The A–G requirements are a sequence of high school courses that students must complete to be eligible for admission to the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems. These courses are designed to ensure students are academically prepared for college-level work.

A-G Subject Areas

Students must earn a grade of C or better in each required course:

A – History/Social Science: 2 years

B – English: 4 years

C – Mathematics: 3 years required (4 years recommended)

D – Laboratory Science: 2 years required (3 years recommended)

E – Language Other Than English: 2 years required (3 years recommended)

F – Visual & Performing Arts: 1 year

G – College-Preparatory Elective: 1 year
