Literature/Novel Studies: Study Language Arts through literature! Each unit comes with questions and/or activities based around the novel(s) to be read. Literature/Novel Themed Integrated Units: Use your favorite books and book series as a springboard for integrated learning! Magic Treehouse, and Harry Potter are just a couple of the options. Click here to view the available units.

Reading Lessons Through Literature: This program takes an Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching first the phonograms, then spelling, then reading. The program really is pick-up-and-go, thorough, and straight-forward By adding the author's corresponding grammar program, English Lessons Through Literature, you would have a complete language arts program. Book levels do not correspond to grade level; adviser needs to specify level. Grades K-3.

Literature Pockets: These unique workbooks offer hands-on activities that enhance reading or literature studies. Students make construction-paper "pockets" that become a portfolio for reading, writing, and art projects contained in the workbook. Each workbook focuses on a specific genre or type of literature. Every set of pockets begins with a reproducible retelling of the story. There is a teacher resource page that offers suggestions for sharing the story. Comprehension, art, and writing activities follow, helping the story come to life for students. All of the activities for each story are stored in a “pocket”. The Reader's Odyssey: a literature program for homeschoolers that combines structure and flexibility to instill in students a propensity to engage in good and great books. Emphasizing the value of classic works that have endured the test of time, this program's developmentally appropriate, "errorless" approach allows students to focus first on exploring many diverse literary works and only later on applying what they have learned to interpreting and evaluating literature for themselves. The individualized aspect of the program allows fluent and reluctant readers alike to accumulate meaningful experiences with literature, to appreciate ideas that are beautiful and true, and to grow more sophisticated and wiser in understanding through reading. Grades 6-8.

Evan Moor--Building Fluency: contains everything teachers need to improve students' reading fluency, one of five essential reading components. Passages include poems, riddles, fiction and nonfiction passages, and reader's theater. Grades 1-5.

Evan Moor--Daily Reading Comprehension: Engage your student in reading, thinking about, and responding to a variety of passages and texts! Read Works: uses a digital library of curated nonfiction and literary articles, along with reading comprehension and vocabulary lessons, formative assessments, and teacher guidance. Grades K-8.
