A diagnosis of Type One Diabetes (T1D) can be an overwhelming time for a student and their family. Our NPS nurses have extensive experience and training in T1D management, from CGM's, insulin pumps, treating hypo- and hyperglycemia and more. Our goal in school is for your student to learn to manage their T1D with as little disruption in their school day as feasible and to be as independent as safely possible.

If your student has been newly diagnosed with T1D or your student is new to NPS, please contact their school nurse as soon as possible to schedule a time to meet and develop a plan for school.
