About Us (MACC)

The Mental Health Website was created by the Natick High Mental Health Awareness Collaboration Club (MACC for short). The club acts as a source of advocacy and education around Mental Health at Natick High School.

Club Information

The Mental Health Awareness Collaboration Club is focused on raising mental health awareness and fostering wellness in relation to mental health! The club will help students become advocates for mental health within the school community. The club meets once a week after school on Wednesdays in room 306. There will be activities like arts and crafts and guest speakers from guidance and outside of the school to share with the club.

Disclaimer: This club is not a crisis center or support group, if you have a mental health emergency please talk to your parent or guardian and contact Psychiatric Emergency Services at Advocates (508) 640-5432 or contact your local emergency room.

Note From the Founders

MACC was founded because we felt strongly about increasing awareness about the mental health resources at NHS. We also wanted to give the student body a place to voice other concerns and raise awareness regarding mental health in the community. COVID-19 has intensified the need for outreach and help more than ever for students. We hope the club will help students find the help they need and promote wellness in our learning environment. We would like to thank our advisors Ms. Magnuson and Ms. Fitzpatrick as well as all of our club members, we couldn't do it without you all!
