Informal Uniform
Red choir t-shirt, provided by NHS Choirs.
Blue jeans. Any style or denim wash is acceptable. No rips or tears!
Comfortable shoes: no open toes, no high heels. Sneakers are encouraged!
Formal Uniform- Provided by students/families
Singers will wear professional-looking performance attire that allows for a unified style while honoring the individual identities of singers. The base color of performance attire will be completely black, head to toe. Options include:
Upper Body
Black dress shirt with covered shoulders and ¾ sleeves or longer
Include combinations of: button up shirts, blazers/jackets, sweaters, blouses
Lower Body
Coverage knee length or longer for dress/skirt (with black hose)
Coverage to ankle for black dress pants
Include combinations of: slacks/dress pants, long dresses, long skirts, palazzo pants
Singers should wear black dress shoes with a low heel or black flats. No sneakers, no open toes.
Minimal jewelry (simple necklace, small earrings). No hair ties or friendship bracelets on wrists!
Hair should be pulled away from the face.
IMPORTANT: Please do not wear perfume/aftershave during rehearsals or performances. NHS is a fragrance-free school.
