Transition planning from elementary school to middle school begins in May each school year. Elementary counselors visit fourth grade classrooms to discuss transitioning to the middle school. The middle school counselor and current 5th grade student ambassadors will visit each elementary school in June to give a presentation and hold a Q&A session with the 4th grade. In addition, all fourth grade students will visit Kennedy for a Step Up Day event in June.
