Who Should Consider SSEP?

  • Job Shadowing - great time to get full days of shadowing in.

  • Early graduates.

  • Projects that require significant time during the work day.

  • Projects that require travel.

  • Students who want to get the project work done, but want more guidance and time on the coursework.

  • Students who prefer to not pay the Summer Institute fee.

Important Considerations:

  • Failure to attend classes or to complete the course on time will result in you being moved to an April present section.

  • Should have 60 (out of 80) or 100 (out of 120) project hours done by the time you return to school.

  • Need to stay in communication with your Primary Advisor over summer.

  • Check to see if you have to take a certain number of courses during the second semester (ie: athletic eligibility).
