Mrs. Kurkamp

Hello!

I'm Ms. Kurkamp, and I am very excited to start another year in 5th grade.  I am entering my 22nd year of teaching and my 4th year as a Washington Wildcat.  I will be the LBS/EL teacher on the team.

I reside in Joliet with my family.  My husband Mike is also a teacher. My son Mikey is starting his teaching career this fall, and my 4 year old daughter, Kali, is heading back to her last year of preschool. We also have 3 dogs that keep us busy.  In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, spending time at our cabin, and swimming. 

I am looking forward to an awesome year in 5th grade, and I can't wait to get to know everyone!
