100m World Record: 9:58 (watch too at 5:25 mark for super slow motion)
Watch Carmelita Jeter at 3:06 mark
Dafne Schippers 200M. Watch the last 10% of the race as to digging deeper and extending the TORSO. Watch all of the runners center of mass over the feet as the leg comes out but always lands on the ball or center of feet.
Michael Johnson's 19.32 from the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, his splits were 10.12 + 9.20 = 19.32. Johnson's 100m split from 50m to 150m was 8.76secs.
Salwa Eid Naser's ability to remain consistent around the turns gave her enough distance at the end to pull it through
Dafne Schipper's FACE at 4:04 shows what it takes to be explosively driven.
What happens in this race is a great lesson on when to make your push and when not to, as the Russians (notice where they start!) make a move on the Kenyan.
Look at the first lap and the importance of getting into the pack if you fall behind; also, the ability to find that sweet spot time to make your move is so cool here!
