한국문화여름캠프

The NAKS MAC Summer camp is a place where Korean American Students go to learn about their culture as well as their heritage. In a span of 4 days, these students are exposed to Korea’s most well known dishes and its customs. However this is only the tip of the iceberg. This camp mainly focuses on giving opportunities for young Korean Americans to learn how to play Samulnori, Modeumbuk, taepyung seo and more.

They receive hands-on experience on korean traditional history and music. By learning how to perform, the students become more than capable of spreading Korea’s culture by opening up countless opportunities to shine as a Korean American in a diverse environment.

This summer camp is a place where Korean students can find a community through building up close bonds with friends from various locations. However, due to the pandemic, the NAKS MAC summer camp was held virtually in the year 2020. That is why this year, NAKS MAC has designed a hybrid camp where high school students and interns will be able to attend an in-person camp while middle school students and younger will still be able to experience camp through a virtual setting.
