At Normal West there are three curricular choirs that meet during the school day:
Chamber Choir and Chorale are auditioned groups consisting of 10th-12th graders, while Concert Choir is a non-auditioned group consisting of 9th-12th graders. Each choir performs a variety of literature throughout the school year that is presented at performances outside of the school day throughout the academic year.

There are three extra-curricular ensembles that meet outside of the school day
Jazz Voices is a co-ed auditioned vocal jazz ensemble that meets Mondays and Thursdays after school from 4:15-5:30 pm. They perform standard jazz literature at choir concerts and performances such as the annual Illinois Wesleyan Jazz Festival, at Coffee House in Uptown Normal, along with festivals and private parties throughout the local communities.
Colla Voce is an auditioned, treble voices, a cappella group that meets Mondays and Thursdays after Jazz Voices from 5:30-6:30 pm. They perform a cappella arrangements of pop, jazz, and musical theatre songs at choir concerts and in other settings.
