WSHS School Counselors will visit Indian Trails Middle School, South Seminole Academy, and Milwee Middle in January. Additionally, course selection information will be sent to all SCPS Middle Schools.  Incoming Freshmen families are invited to attend the WSHS Bear Necessities Curriculum Night on 1/28/25 @6pm.

Course Selection Process

Students will be placed in academic core classes based on assessment data and grades.  Students will have an opportunity to request a change in selected courses in the months of April or May. More information will be sent through email.  Students will be required to request their desired electives on the required Google Form. The Course Selection Google Form will open on 1/28/25 and close on 2/21/25.  Below you will find links to assist in selecting courses.

Enrollment Info for Private and Charter School Students

Current 8th grade students who attend a private or charter school and live in the Winter Springs High School attendance zone: Start the process on or after February 1 by completing the SCPS enrollment process. If you are do not live in the WSHS attendance zone and have not been assigned to attend WSHS by the SCPS SAPA (Student Assignment and Program Access) department, please visit their website. You will be notified from the SAPA department after each transfer period closes on the status of your application. Students who have not yet enrolled may select and submit course requests, but no schedule will be built for students who are not enrolled or assigned to WSHS.
