Course Selection Information for 10th-12th (current 9th-11th)

Academic Course Placement

• Students will be placed in academic courses based on their progress in current classes and the progression guides provided by each department.

• Students will have the opportunity to request changes to their academic course placement by submitting a Course Change Request through the Google Form (coming soon).

Current 9th & 10th Graders

• During the week of February 2nd, 9th and 10th graders will view a course registration video presentation in their English classes.

• Students will receive a Course Planning form and will be asked to input their elective course selections in Skyward before their scheduled registration lab day (instructions HERE).

• Registration Lab Days will be held during the week of March 2nd (9th & 10th Grade Registration Lab Schedule)

  • During this time, students will review their course selections with their counselors. 

Current 11th Graders

• February 4th/5th, counselors will visit English classes to review the Junior Credit Check & Course Registration presentation (schedule-click on first tab HERE)

• Students will receive a Course Planning form and will be asked to input their elective course selections in Skyward before their scheduled registration lab day (instructions HERE).

• In the following weeks, Juniors will meet individually with their School Counselors through their History classes to review their credit checks and to review their course selections (schedule- click on second tab HERE).

Skyward Student Access will be open: February 3- March 9

Students who do not have an English class should review the information and links on this page, then schedule an appointment with their counselor after March 6th.

If your student wants to register for a virtual course during Summer 2026 or Fall 2026, they can follow the directions below.

WSHS offers on-campus virtual lab on a space-available basis for a max of one period.
