Let's get started!
Today, we want to help you understand how to build your 4-Year Plan. Your 4-Year Plan is not your finalized registration/class selection but a way for you to map out your high school experience to help you meet your graduation and post-high school goals. You can use this plan to help select your courses each semester and in discussions with your Guidance Technicians, who help you finalize your schedules.
For example, in our first presentation we reviewed Graduation vs. A-G Requirements. Do you remember the difference between the two? If you plan on majoring in a certain subject in college, are their electives or other classes that align with your interests or goals?
Check out the presentation for more tips on how to build your 4-Year Plan. When you're done, scroll down to the next section to complete the Google Sheet below.
Instructions:

If you are interested in taking a class at the Community College, you will need to complete a K-12 Form and have it approved by your School Counselor.
To complete the K-12 Form:
Step 1: Apply to the community college.
Step 2: Within 24 hours in the ‘permit to register’ email, you will be sent your college ID (will be sent to whichever email you record on the application).
Step 3: Complete the K-12 form attached (with the class ticket number for the class found on the class schedule and with the college ID sent to you).
Step 4: Bring the completed form to your School Counselor for approval/signature (not the Principal).
Step 5: Email the completed k-12 form to Saddleback Admissions: scadmissions@saddleback.edu
Step 6: Make sure you set up your mysite because that is where they will issue the registration date and time. You will also register for the class through her mysite portal.
Your Aeries Family Portal will be crucial to monitor your student's success, classwork, and attendance. While your Guidance Technicians do an amazing job checking your student's credits and graduation status; you are also able to check your graduation status in the portal as well.
