DAY OF THE DEAD SKULL

1. What did you learn about the Day of the Dead from the video we watched?

It is a day to honor those that have died.

2. Describe the ceramic techniques you used and how you applied them when you were working with clay.

I learned how to make a pinch pot when I made the sphere, and I also haven't used red slip on the white clay before. 

3. Do you feel like you need more practice to get better at these techniques? Or Do you feel ready to learn more new techniques?

     I think i have definitely improved my skills in traditional clay, and i feel more confident for future projects.

4. What was your own personal approach to the skull- How did you try and express yourself in this project?

   I based it off of what naturally flowed to me in my creative state, basing it off of very culty movie aesthetics and the album "I disagree" by Poppy.

5. What are you most proud of in the creation of this project?
   I am most proud of the spikes. they all turned out pretty even, and i like the look of them.

6. Does working with clay and making something in 3D make you want to try working in other mediums to create scultpure? 
   Yes! I had a lot of fun.
