In small groups, discuss the following questions. Please offer suggestions for your classmates or share similar experiences.
How was your experience with the writing self-care activity? Share which prompt you did and your general thoughts about the prompt, your experience, or any other thoughts.
What was easy or challenging about the self-care practice?
Can you think of any ways to adapt the activity or prompt to better serve you? Be creative! Or is there a self-care practice that you know already works better for you?
Discuss the idea that self-care is not “one-size-fits-all”.
Discuss the articles about burnout and stress. Here are some questions to consider: Do you see burnout being a concern of yours? Or do you see how one can become burnout? Connect self-care to burnout.
