PLTW Computer Science

PLTW Computer Science is a gentle introduction to Computer Science and Coding.

This class will allow you to discover computer science concepts and skills by creating relevant fun projects. We will start off with a variety of Digital Skills like Google Slides and Google Drawings and transition to basic coding activities using CS First and Scratch, Code.org and Microsoft MakeCode.

We will be using the small but mighty BBC Micro:bit device to engage you in creating very fun projects. Students will work with partners in the pair programming process to collaborate and create projects

It is important to note that PLTW Computer science is a semester long course. Students who take this course one semester also take Art for the other semester.
