Welcome to our FHS Band home page!

I am so excited to welcome you and your students to the band. Joining a band program is one of the most special things a student can do. Band teaches so much more than playing an instrument- we learn about teamwork, discipline, integrity, and overall just how to be a better person to make a better world! Music is the perfect way to safely learn how to express your thoughts and feelings. As a band parent, you get to benefit from these experiences as well! You get to be involved in bettering your child's life by supporting them in their musical endeavors. We have a wide range of ways you can be involved and be an active participant in the band program. This parent-run club meets once a month to plan events and fundraisers for the program and coordinate on projects and generate new ideas to make the band experience the best that it can be for the kids!
