Book Cover Analysis

The book that I chose is part of the Little House Series and is called “The Long Winter”. The cover is rustic looking with a gingham border around the edge. The font of the title is Times New Roman which tells you it's a “classic” or older book. The author's name is pretty large because she is a “known” author. The symbol on the top of the page shows that this book is part of a series. The art on the page is very bright and cheerful but also makes you feel cold at the same time. I found this image of my book on the internet and it has a bronze badge on it. Although my personal book does not have it, the badge means that this book has gotten awards.
