One of those Days

Both my parents were angry when I got into a fight

My mom picked me up from school and she was tight

I had to tell her what happened because I was in fright

She said, "when we get home" , "me and you are going to fight” 

We talked it out and I was outside riding my bike

I busted out laughing, because to my left, a dog was stuck on a kite.

My friends linked up with me, but we got in trouble because somebody bust a pipe

My folks said that thing “cost money, girl", they was right

I asked my mom for $50 for a party she said “no", "you know better than that", "right?"

I got upset and called my dad, cause I knew he would give it to me alright. 

I got to the party and everyone was running out in flight. 

I was confused and irritated cause I spent money trying to have a good night. 

I got into the house very late and turned on the lights. 

My mom came downstairs and said “so", "how was your night “

She also said, “stop coming in late you know that’s what i don’t like “

I just listened and went to bed, because I was done putting up a fight.

Dangerous Activities

I really wanted to make some quick and easy money

Then my mom started to look at me real funny

I told her that I was selling some kind of chemicals,

And then she said to me “Well", "that’s not stereotypical”

I looked at my momma there was steam coming out of my hat

She looked like she was gonna hit me with a real baseball bat

I really gave it my all to try to explain,

She told me to pack up my things and hop on a plane

I secretly started selling vapes and pens

I got back home and started counting up in the den

I really wanted to make a ton of quick and easy money,

But the way it turned out wasn’t very funny

Then me and my friend walked in the bathroom and got caught

The administrator took us away and then called the cops

I got suspended from school and I thought it was over

But it turns out my time at SCALE Greensboro was just getting over
